A prison in rural Rusisa is the setting for that grim tale.
Dennis Warren (Adam Tsekhman), an artist, is thrown in jail despite his innocence.
He is wrnogly accused of raping a woman, and his only way out is to pay off the warden and the prosecutor. The deep roots of corruption in Russain society collide with American idealism.
